[a] Dates he was in the Navy? -November 6th 1942 through the end of the war 1946 [a-1] what was his US State of enlistment? -Enlisted from Houston, Texas [b] dates on the CA35 as a radioman? -He doesn't remember exact dates but does remember leaving the ship with Admiral Spruance in Guam just before the sinking. (July 26th possibly?)1945 [c] his last rank & rate.? -RM2C d] Did he actually work in one of the CA35 radio rooms.. ..He says he worked many days in the radio room copying code for Admiral Spruance [f] Any radio OPs data you wish to add to the USSIndyRadio exhibit "Radioman" page.
